Shipping can be done to all states where shipping alcoholic beverages directly to a consumer is currently legal. Some states are stable, some are constantly enacting or rescinding legislature that changes this. I'm not able to control or change what's legal so please contact me with your request and I'll do my best to fulfill it. What I can control is how the wines get shipped so the following are a few guidelines.
Shipping Monday or Tuesday is preferable. If in the Western US Wednesday is possible but I never want wines to sit in a warehouse, whether too hot or too cold, over the weekend.
Shipping in the Spring and Fall is also preferable but I understand it's not a perfect world. however, no heat waves and no snow storms. I will always check weather before shipping.
All shipping is at customer's expense. I charge no markup on shipping and generally reuse shipper boxes at no cost to you. I will get three service rates for you and the decision is yours.
There will be a charge for the "adult signature required". That's the policy at UPS and I simply pass it along. I'm sure you have a great relationship w/ your regular delivery driver and he or she will drop it on the porch but I can't send it without "adult signature required".
Shipping by UPS is preferred. I don't think they do a better job than other companies, but I have an account with them that allows me to ship alcohol to you (where legal). I can't use your shipping account with UPS or any other company UNLESS you have an account that allows you to ship and or receive alcohol. Sorry, and thanks for understanding.
Shipping is easiest in quantities of six or twelve bottles however other arrangements can be made.
